JOIN US AT STONE BARNS CENTER

Stone Barns Center is a nonprofit agriculture and gastronomy research center with a mission to catalyze an ecological food culture in the Northeast. Our Hudson Valley campus, shared with our restaurant partner Blue Hill at Stone Barns, is a living laboratory for interdisciplinary research experiments where visitors can learn through eating and exploring the grounds.

Explore Tour: The Farm and Innovation Labs

Go behind the scenes into our growing spaces and culinary innovation labs. With cooks and farmers as your guides, learn about and taste our approach to whole grain baking, preservation and nose-to-tail butchery.

Cafeteria: Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am-3pm
Open seating surrounds a communal farm table leading outside to the Dooryard Garden. Offerings include:


Breakfast: 10am-11am – Serving a selection of baked goods from Blue Hill’s 100% whole grain bakery, along with other morning staples such as fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. Coffee and tea available all day. No reservations required.

Lunch Tray – A cafeteria-style lunch tray with small plates that showcase our ongoing work with whole grains, preservation and butchery. 

Wednesday/Thursday: 12pm-1pm

Friday: 12pm-1:30pm

Saturday/Sunday: 12pm-2:30pm

Community Table – On select weeknights, the cafeteria transforms into Community Table: a family-style three course supper and beverage pairing celebrating seasonal ingredients from the Northeast.

Market – Bring home eggs, meat, produce, flowers, and dry goods from our farm!

Dress Code
Come as you are! The Cafeteria is casual. 

Reservations
All experiences require advance booking with the exception of breakfast. Reservations for Lunch Trays and Community Table can be made online via Tock. All sales are final and reservations cannot be canceled. 

Children are welcome! The majority of our programming is designed with adults in mind; we leave it to your discretion to decide if your child will engage with our activities. Young adults 12 and up must purchase a ticket to participate, and youths under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Accessibility
We strive to ensure that the Stone Barns Center campus and its buildings are accessible. However, due to the farm’s naturally varied topography, portions of the historic landscape may be inaccessible. The Cafeteria has wheelchair accessible seating. The restroom in the Silo Lobby is wheelchair accessible.
